The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office was called in to investigate an incident at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 at Thomas Johnson High School when a student attempted to stab others, according to a spokesperson from the agency.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators said that “it appears this was an isolated incident between two students in the cafeteria” that was stopped by an on-duty Frederick County Sheriff's Office Resource Officer.
An unnamed student has been taken into custody and transported to the sheriff’s office.
No other details were released by investigators.
